About

The recreation league provides an opportunity for young boys and girls aged 4 years through 17 years to play soccer and develop their skills. We have programs in both Lake Charles and Moss Bluff. Our Lake Charles program takes place at the Lake Charles Power Center in both the fall & spring, and our Moss Bluff program takes place at the Moss Bluff Soccer Complex in the fall only.

Season Information

• Fall: September-October / Spring: March-April (Lake Charles only). Exact dates TBA.
• Location:
• LAKE CHARLES Ward 3 Recreation Power Center Complex, 3210 Power Center Pkwy, Lake Charles.
• MOSS BLUFF Moss Bluff Soccer Complex, 256 Jones Road, Moss Bluff.
• Equipment:
  • Jerseys: Each player will need two jerseys. One for home (yellow) games and one for away/visitor (black) games. The jerseys can be used for future seasons and cost:
  • Youth Sizes: $19 each
  • Adult Sizes: $20 each
  • Shorts: Black – loose fitting and comfortable
  • Socks: 5U-8U Black / 9U-17U Black & Yellow to wear with matching color jersey
  • Shin guards – required for games and practices.
  • Cleats – not required but are highly recommended for games and practices

Purchasing Uniforms

Uniforms can be purchased from our partner vendor Third Coast Soccer either in person at one of our ‘pop-up shop’ days just prior to the season or online at the Third Coast Soccer Youth Recreation webpage Click HERE

Age Requirement

Refer to the AGE MATRIX to check your age group.

Please note age groups now follow the Calendar Year rather than the School Year. If players wish to request to play with up in age with friends they should be aware of possible difference in field sizes and older teammates/opponents which may not provide them with the best experience. This was a nationwide change implemented by US Soccer in 2016.

• Under 5 – Under 8: FALL OR SPRING season $70 (FALL & SPRING COMBO $120)
• Under 9 – Under 10: FALL OR SPRING season $75 (FALL & SPRING COMBO $130)
• Under 11 - Under 14: FALL OR SPRING season $80 (FALL & SPRING COMBO $140)
• Under 15 - Under 18: FALL OR SPRING season $70 (FALL & SPRING COMBO $120)

MOSS BLUFF

• Under 5 – Under 8: FALL season $65
• Under 9 – Under 10: FALL season $70
• Under 11 - Under 14: FALL season $75
• Under 15 - Under 18: FALL season $65

TOPS & Buddy Ball: Soccer for everyone

We partner with Awesome Kids & Ward 3 Recreation to provide a fantastic Buddy Ball program each fall season. We also aim to provide (TOPS) for local players who have a disability.
